WINDS OF PLAGUE Announces European Headlining Tour

Los Angeles metallers WINDS OF PLAGUE will embark on their first European headlining tour in November.

Commented WINDS OF PLAGUE frontman Johnathan "Johnny Plague" Cooke: "So after the huge success of our last tour supporting PARKWAY DRIVE, we couldn't wait to cross the ocean again to come and rage across Europe and the U.K. again.

"Before the PARKWAY DRIVE tour even ended we started planning for this headlining tour.

"We are very excited to be able to bring our good friends STICK TO YOUR GUNS and FOR TODAY out with us as well as meet up with heavy-hitting MONUMENTS.

Jamey Jasta of HATEBREED and KINGDOM OF SORROW will make a guest appearance on the forthcoming album from WINDS OF PLAGUE, tentatively due in early 2011 via via Century Media Records. The CD will be recorded later this summer with producer Matt Hyde (SLAYER, HATEBREED).

"The Great Stone War", the latest album from WINDS OF PLAGUE, sold 6,300 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 73 on The Billboard 200 chart.

WINDS OF PLAGUE shot a video for the song "Approach The Podium" with up-and-coming director Nic Izzy of Reconstructed Media (DESPISED ICON, PROTEST THE HERO).

"The Great Stone War" was released on August 11, 2009 in the U.S. via Century Media Records.
